Scott Heersche
Pastor of Worship
As Pastor of Worship, Scott Heersche oversees all worship related church initiatives. In addition to leading Sunday morning worship, he directs the Worship Choir, Truth youth choir, and heads up the worship ministries team. Having been raised in Lexington, Scott is a graduate of the University of KY School of Music, and holds a Masters in Trumpet Performance from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Scott has served as Director of Worship Arts for Hay Street Church in Fayetteville, NC, and previously served on Centenary's staff as Associate Director of Music. He has also served on the faculties of UK (Interim Professor of Trumpet),
Transylvania University (Adjunct Trumpet Instructor and Jazz Ensemble Director), and Methodist College (Fayetteville, NC). He is a founding member of the Victory Brass Quintet, Centenary's resident chamber brass ensemble.
