Rev. Tom GriebRev. Grieb was appointed to Centenary in June 2009. He last served St. Paul United Methodist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Previous to his nine-year appointment at St. Paul, Tom served with Settle Memorial in Owensboro, St. John in Prospect, St. Paul (Associate Pastor), and Browder/Elm Grove in Madisonville.

Tom graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1978 with a B.A., majoring in Religion/Philosophy and from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1981 with a Masters of Divinity.

He has been a delegate to the General Conference of the United Methodist Church (1996, 2000, 2004, 2008) and a delegate to the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference (1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008), and presently serves as the Chairperson of the Kentucky Annual Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. Among other annual conference posts, he has served as President of the Council of Finance and Administration in the former Louisville Annual Conference. Has also given leadership to the contemporary Christian music festival, New Song, held annually at the Loucon Training and Retreat Center.

Tom has been active in the Emmaus movement, especially with Chrysalis. He is married to Cheryl Spaulding Grieb. They have two sons: Brian, who is attending Vanderbilt Medical School and John, who is attending Kentucky Wesleyan College. Brian and his wife Cassie reside in Nashville.
