| Former Centenary members, Deborah and Bauta Motty, are Nigerian nationals who currently serve in leadership development and training with the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA). Bauta is a professor at the ECWA seminary in Jos, and also serves and leads ILI in West Africa, works with orality networks in the region, and has recently started a microfinance project for widows in his home town. Bauta's recent recognitions include being named to the Asbury Seminary's Alumni Council, and working toward reconciliation as a member of the Commission of Inquiry in Nigeria, which is confronting the Christian/Muslim conflict.
