Julie provides pastoral support, as well as leadership and equipping for Local and Global Impact and Centenary's benevolence ministry, the Love Fund. As a veteran of more than 25 international mission trips, she coordinates Centenary's various short term mission experiences, and develops and maintains local and international partnerships for the purpose of expanding the Kingdom of God through the local church.
A member of Centenary for more than 30 years. she has served in almost every area of the church as a layleader. She lived in Brazil as a missionary and then completed a Master's Degree in Missions and Evangelism from Asbury Seminary, before being hired in 2000 as Centenary's first Pastor of Missions. In 2008, Julie was appointed the layleader for missions for the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is married, and has two teenage daughters. |
