Kenya
Since 2002, Centenary has partnered with a variety of ministries within the East African nation of Kenya. WorldWide Hands & Hearts, a ministry born out of Centenary Church, gives educational assistance to vulnerable children, and through short term teams, provides encouragement, care and tangible support to the community of Escarpment/Mwimutoni, located about an hour from Nairobi. Since 2005, Centenary has partnered with Dr. Pius Kagwi, who was a member of the church during his studies at Asbury Seminary. Upon his return to Mombasa, he was made a bishop, and currently serves in leadership development in this Coastal region of the country. Pius has also hosted three Centenary short term teams.
In 2010, Dr. Silas and Rahab Waweru returned to Kenya to begin serving in church planting and leadership development. They are based in Nairobi.
