For more than 20 years, Centenary has been partnering with Central Methodist
Church
in Londrina, Brazil to care for needy children and their families through AMAS, the social arm of the church. AMAS runs day care centers on the outskirts of the city and for many people, these low cost centers provide the ONLY option for affordable day care so they can work to meet their families' needs.

Centenary's partnership began in the 1980s with June Marcum and a Brazilian pastor who was studying at Asbury Seminary. Julie Broderson, Centenary's current missions pastor, also lived in Londrina and served with AMAS before attending seminary. Over the years, Centenary and Central Church have exchanged short term missionaries, partnered in leadership training events, and worked together to build the Kingdom of God in this place.
