Scholarships Available
Applications for the
Dr. Don R. King/Dr. Sewell Woodward, Jr. Scholarship and the
William F. Pettus Scholarship will be accepted through Tuesday, July 15.
To be eligible for these awards, the applicant:
- must be a member of Centenary or the child or ward of a Centenary member
- must be enrolled as full-time students for the school year immediately prior to and following the date of award at an accredited institution
of higher education offering a four-year degree, or in graduate school.
- must have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Applicants should submit to the committee, through the church office, grades, three letters of recommendation
and a biographical sketch addressing family, employment and educational histories, extra curricular activities and
educational and/or vocational goals. All applicants must be available for interview by the Scholarship Committee.
The awards will be given on or before July 31, 2008. Applications are available at the church office.
